What we do
Complete Housing was founded to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time — the global affordable housing crisis. We saw that the problem was not just technical but also financial. High construction costs and limited financing options meant home ownership was out of reach for most people.
From the beginning, our approach has been twofold:
- Innovate in design and materials to make homes more cost-effective.
- Reimagine financing with in-house zero-interest payment plans and rent-to-own contracts.
Our journey began in Accra, Ghana – a city that recently ranked as the second most expensive in the world when comparing average income to average housing costs. With a young, rapidly growing population, the demand for affordable housing here is urgent. We saw an opportunity to set a new standard for what “affordable” could mean without compromising quality or design.
Our Approach
We combine modern architectural design with our proprietary modular steel-framed construction method. This enables us to build faster, at lower cost, and with greater efficiency than traditional concrete methods. Our minimalistic designs focus on functionality and adaptability, creating spaces that meet diverse needs.
Because our focus is firmly on achieving affordability, we explore and apply alternative construction methodologies such as rammed earth construction and interlocking earth bricks. These approaches not only reduce building and cooling costs but also promote sustainability and environmental harmony.
Our mission and purpose drive us to constantly research and innovate, developing new building systems and techniques that bring us closer to making quality housing attainable for all.
A key part of this innovation is our Complete Wall — a proprietary walling methodology designed to be more cost-effective, faster to construct, and environmentally conscious. This innovation attracted the attention of UN-Habitat, for whom we delivered a special presentation on how our walling solution could support their affordable housing initiatives worldwide.
We are also proud to be partners of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), strengthening our ability to attract investment and foster impactful housing projects.
